JKBOSE Notification: Class 9th Registration Schedule for Academic Session 2024-25

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has released an official notification regarding the schedule for online submission of registration returns for Class 9th students for the academic session 2024-25.

Key Details:

1. Registration Fees:

   • Normal Registration Fee: ₹640 per candidate
   • Late Fee Details:
     • 1st Late Fee Window: ₹75 + ₹640 (Total ₹715)
     • 2nd Late Fee Window: ₹85 + ₹640 (Total ₹725)
     • 3rd Late Fee Window: ₹100 + ₹640 (Total ₹740)

2. Important Dates:

   • Normal Fee Submission: 31-12-2024 to 29-01-2025
   • With Late Fee (1st Count): 30-01-2025 to 09-02-2025
   • With Late Fee (2nd Count): 10-02-2025 to 19-02-2025
   • With Late Fee (3rd Count): 20-02-2025 to 01-03-2025

3. Eligibility:

   • Students on rolls in Class 9th for the academic session 2024-25 are eligible.
   • Minimum age criteria:
     • Kashmir Division: 14 years as of 01-11-2025
     • Jammu Division: 14 years as of 01-05-2026

Instructions for Schools:

• Verification: School Heads must verify all registration forms and ensure accuracy before submission.
• Submission Process: Registration should be completed online via the official JKBOSE website (www.jkbose.nic.in).
• Certification: Verified data will be recorded in the JKBOSE database, and no further claims will be entertained.

Special Note for Disabled Candidates:

• Candidates with 40% or more disability are exempted from paying the registration fee.
• Such candidates must submit their forms along with a certificate from the Medical Board.
